“I have just been reading about how you can use your Canadian credit card in the ‘pay at the pumps’ at US gas stations. When you attempt to swipe your card at the pumps it always prompts you to type in your zip code. I have tried many different times to punch in valid US zip codes but it would never work..
here is the procedure to use your card:
when prompted for a zip code type in the numeric portion of your home Postal Code and add two zero’s at the end.
for example if your postal code is L0B 1A0 type in 010 000. the pumps will accept this as a valid zip code and you will be able to use your Canadian credit card.”
